We are a team of two people that design, create, and present the digital enviroment of a dystopian sci-fi video game. Designing a city in a fantasy senario was a great challenge and opportunity to us. We tried to imagine, predict and create an idea of a future within the boundaries of a dystopian world. Given no physics rules,but still designingin a future past, we managed to create a medieval future, packed with cyberpunk aesthetics and social and political symbolisms.
The video game, has a solid storyline explained throught the city itself without the need of a narrator. It is a First Person mystery/survival game emphasizing the relationship between limit and transition, in a chaotic space with unpredictable situations. Concluding designing architecture for an enviroment of unlimited opportunities, free of any physical and non-physical limitations,was a life changing experience.
