Welcome to the Coralhood

Meet Colin the Clown Fish ⭐️ [5/6]

Mi casa es su casa – I live in a sea-anemone, the coral is my home and it protects me and my family from predators.
Like Colin, humans rely on the coral reefs, providing us with jobs and fish essential to our diet. The coral reefs are on the verge of dying due water pollution and rising sea temperatures. If we lost our coral reefs, around 500 million people would be affected by poverty, starvation and political instability, which means Colin would lose his home and certainly perish.
That’s not cool. ⛔️ But we still have time to act! Join the movement with some with a simple actions that have a big impact:
1.) Clean up after our beach parties! �
2.) Don’t purchase coral souvenirs ⛔️
3.) Use a clothes line instead of your clothes dryer! �

Healthy for us, healthy for Colin. Now that’s cool.
Scientists are also re-growing coral reefs, clean up initiatives are making a huge impact in removing plastic, and no fishing zones are helping corals bounce back and re-grow!
We can all play a part in saving our corals, so let’s take it
So Colin and his buddies can be chillin in the hood – the coralhood …ah yeah!
